How I got into photography: In May of 1997, I saw a band named Chalk Farm play at a tiny club in Detroit. It was the first time I'd been to a concert at such a small place and I loved the fact that I could stand at the front of the stage just feet away from the band. My friends took pictures of the band throughout the whole show, so I figured I would too. I had nothing more than a point and shoot camera, but when I got the pictures back, I especially liked one picture that really captured the energy the guitar player put into the show.

From then on I was inspired to take my camera to concerts. As I began to attend concerts on a regular basis, my love for concert photography developed into a love for photography in general.

- Sugarcult, Back to the Disaster DVD - 6 of my photographs used in the photo gallery.

- The Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI) - Published four photographs I took at the Motor City Music Conference 2005. One of Augie from The Hard Lessons. One of Todd from Dutch Henry. Also, two of the band Ivory Wire - one of Chuck and one of Tom.
