Pen and Ink

I haven't really done much pen and ink work since high school, so that's when all of these pictures were made.

This is a drawing of a koala that I did based on a magazine picture. 8.25" x 10.5"

A drawing I did of a teapot. The drawing on the top was done in pen and ink, entirely in dots. The bottom drawing was done in pencil. This piece received an honorable mention in the Scholastic Art Awards in 1996. 9" x 17.5"

I was fortunate enough to go to China the summer before my senior year of high school. This drawing is from a photograph that I took of the Great Wall. Done almost entirely in dots. 9.25" x 6"

While I was in high school, a house tour was going to occur around the area. Someone in charge asked if some students in the drawing classes could do drawings of the houses, and this is the one that I drew. 10" x 5"

At one point during high school I got on this kick of drawing musicians in this black and white, graphic style. These are examples of some of them that I did.

From the top left: JR Richards of Dishwalla, Dolores O'Riordan of the Cranberries, Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish, Dan Wilson of Semisonic, and Michael Stipe of R.E.M.
